This Sunday (6), Lucas Souza, Jojo Todynho’s exhusband, took part in Domingo Espetacular and vented about the difficult breakup with the singer. Visibly dejected, he admitted he was sorry for the fighting and the sudden breakup. “I think I should have thought more about what happened,” Lucas said. The military also pointed out what would have been the reason for the divorce: the excessive exposure of the two on social networks.
Souza was responsible for announcing the split to the public. On Instagram, after a day of disagreements with the singer, he posted an open letter announcing the end of his marriage to Jojo. On that occasion, the “Que Tiro Foi Esse?” performer explained via Stories that he didn’t know anything and like fans just read Lucas’ statement. He explained that he regretted the whole situation: “I think I should have thought more. No matter what happened, I should have thought about my partner. I’m a very direct person, I’m 22 years old, you know? I’ll do a lot of things wrong in my life.”

“I stopped to reset my goals because they had kids, went on trips together, so I recalculated the route,” Souza continued in the outburst. Jojo’s ex also said it was difficult adjusting to the excess spotlight in the relationship: “I was posting a lot of nonsense because I didn’t know the repercussions it could have. Sometimes I’ve posted things that I didn’t see as evil, but people saw and it resonated. Constant controversy and overexposure exhausted themselves [o relacionamento]. I think I made a mistake opening my Instagram. I should have walked away from all of that.”

Last week Lucas was spotted at an event in Rio de Janeiro in the company of exfazenda Liziane Gutierrez, but through Stories he denied he was in a relationship with her. The influencer was also wanted by “Spectacular Sunday” and denied by the military in an interview. According to her, after the announcement of the split, the two began communicating on social media, and the message exchange ended with a meeting at the nightclub.

“We’ve always said let’s be discreet so let’s not reveal anyone and we don’t look bad in this story. ‘Don’t say anything, I won’t say anything and the matter is dead!’, then he said: ‘okay Lizi’, I’m silent’. Five minutes later he had his phone with him, like, ‘So, guys…'” Liziane confessed, saying Lucas didn’t stick to the agreement they both had. “I think he’s lost and this isn’t his time to get involved with anyone,” she concluded. Lucas declined to comment on the matter again.

Despite the troubled story, Souza continued to praise his ex. “I had lived with other women, but she was my first official wife. Regardless of whether we are apart or together, I will love Jordana or Jojo Todyinho as an artist, with her charisma and the wonderful person she is,” he said.
Jojo and Lucas met while on vacation in Mexico and got married earlier this year. The split came nine months after the ceremony, with plenty of twists and turns and controversy uncovered around the internet. The funk singer recently signed the divorce papers and poked fun at not knowing the person she fell in love with. Disappointed, she also spoke very candidly about Souza’s probable affair with Liziane.
