Lucie Rheaume and Cindy Cournoyer reveal the sales of Girl Crush – Narcity

It’s been around three years since content creators Cindy Cournoyer and Lucie Rheaume teamed up to start Girl Crush, a clothing company, or more specifically, matching sets. On April 19th, the co-founders appeared on the program Dans l’oeil du dragon to present their project.

Her request was to receive a $200,000 investment in 10% of her business, valuing it at $2 million.

After the presentation of the products and brand image, the dragons present began to ask questions, starting with the income from sales. Lucie Rheaume then explained that her company was in full expansion:

“In our first year of operation, we achieved a million sales. In the following year, we almost doubled our sales to 1.8 million, and we expect 4.3 in the next three years [millions]. »

“Our gross profit margin is around 45% and the net profit margin is currently around 17%. We’ve increased it with every year of operation since the beginning,” she added when asked about current margins.

The Quebec company shined during New York Fashion Week 2022 when businesswomen were invited to present a runway show entitled Melting Hot. The clothes also appeared on the pages of British Vogue.

It was eventually four dragons who accepted the original offer, then Cindy and Lucie decided to move on with Isabelle Chevalier, who funnily enough was already wearing a matching fuchsia outfit from another brand. They left the show’s set after achieving their goal.
