For years, Citibanamex has offered its customers the benefit of pre-sales at major concerts in Mexico. Therefore, the announcement that the tickets for Luis Miguel’s return to the stage would be sold through Santander surprised everyone and provoked several reactions, some even very funny from people.

Next May 16th and 17th, ticket holders can buy tickets for the 2023 Luis Miguel tour. In addition, on May 15th there will be a VIP presale for those who have the cards: Santander World Elite , Black Unlimited, Fiesta Rewards Platinum, Visa Infinite, Legacy, Aeroméxico Platinum and Aeroméxico Infinite.

El Universal newspaper announced that the same bank had informed them that the number of customers had tripled following the announcement, “in addition to the fact that our current customers are very pleased that the bank has this long-awaited pre-sale.”

On TikTok, there are several reactions from Santander users, who now appreciate having this advantage. For example, some users have used the tone: “So many times have I asked you for one, wretched, so many times. I spat bile for you, my hair fell for you”, by Christian Martinoli, with videos in which they even kiss their cards.

Others, with the song “El último viernes” by Espinoza Paz, have expressed their regret at having turned down the bank managers when they offered them loans, with messages like: “I am now with the ones from Santander after I met them.” Yelled at and hanged ‘call her’ for years.

Others joked about the position Santander is now taking towards those who turned them down.

Citibanamex users have also joked about their pain:

BBVA Bancomer is the best-ranked bank, followed by Citibanamex, Banorte and Santander, according to a study by the polling institute YouGov, which measured Mexicans’ trust in banking institutions.

On the other hand, the National Bank and Securities Commission (CNBV), which is responsible for regulating Mexico’s financial system, reported that the largest banks, measured by their assets in millions of pesos, are: BBVA México, Santander and Banamex.
