Luísa Sonza, Juliette and Manu Gavassi were some of the winners of the sixth edition of the WME Awards by Music2. The awards, held tonight in São Paulo, recognized the work of several women in the music world.
The event included a performance by Preta Gil and concerts by Marina Sena, Luísa Sonza, Gaby Amarantos, Larissa Luz, Ana Cañas, Luedji Luna and Margareth Menezes, one of the evening’s award winners.
In addition to the recently announced Minister of Culture, the WME Awards by Music2 also honored Elza Soares, who passed away in January this year at the age of 91.
Highlights of Results:
- Luisa Sonza emerged as the winner in the Female Singer category and gave an emotional speech.
- From BBB to the top, Juliette won Best Show, in a category decided by a technical jury
- Anitta, Pitty and Manu Gavassi are also among the winners.
