The singer Luísa Sonza opened the game and seriously complained about the world of digital influencers. Through her social networks, she revealed this Thursday (9) how some brands are behaving in relation to these celebrities, even canceling work with influencers who disclose their political positions. She used her official Twitter account to denounce the brands stance.
Sonza decided to speak up about the matter after learning that companies are being pressured to curb their influencers: “Mynd, the company that handles my promotion, and more than 350 influencers, including other singers, have told me said they’ve received messages from some brands hiring and even cutting jobs with people who are politically positioned,” she began in her outburst.
Not including the complaint, the singer shot what she thinks and suggested a reflection: “What would you like influencers to influence? Do you only buy your products? Because I believe in a real impact that improves our society and makes young people think. They want people who only consume what you want and don’t know how to talk about politics and society. What future do you want for us?” the blonde opened wide.
After a long outburst, the singer left a question: “Influencer has become a profession. That is no longer discussed. If we can’t use that power for something else, then what’s the point?” she asked.
