Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, who was elected President of Brazil last October 30, decides not to join the western bloc, which supports Ukraine with arms supplies. As reported by the newspaper Folha de S. Paulo, Lula vetoed deliveries of ammunition for tanks: the line should adopt as neutral a stance as possible so as not to anger Moscow. In addition, the Brazilian head of state is said to have denied having received requests for weapons from the federal government.
