Lynne admitted her first thoughts about the singer “were so wrong”.

“It couldn’t have been further from the truth because he was a hard worker; “He really wanted to make it and learn acting,” she continued.

“Johnny doesn’t take himself too seriously for a young, handsome, talented man — he must have been mugged by women.”

Lynne recently said Johnny is one of the heroes in her life.

The actor is currently battling a diagnosis of terminal cancer and celebrated his 35th birthday in March.

In August 2022, he confirmed his brain cancer diagnosis was terminal and said he was afraid of how his girlfriend Tahnee would cope with his death.

“You can only imagine how difficult it was for her,” Johnny said on The Project.

Lynne told 7Life she remembered “rolling her eyes” when the singer landed a role on the soap and thought he was “not an actor” but admits she was “very wrong”.

“What’s on my mind a lot is, I hate to say that about how hard it could be for her if something happens to me.”

“Well, it’s something I don’t want to think about.” It just makes me a little bit emotional because I know something’s going to happen at some point, whether it’s in a month or 10 years or 20 years.”

Johnny told then-host Carrie Bickmore that he was already past his life expectancy.

“It’ll get to me eventually, but I’m still fighting.” It’s still going on. If you look at my diagnosis and my tumor, the average life expectancy is three years,” he said.

Johnny went into remission months after his initial diagnosis in 2017, but announced in November 2021 that the disease had returned.
