Home Alone fans were amazed by Macaulay Culkin’s voice after hearing it for the first time since he was a child, saying: “I didn’t expect it to sound like that.”
The legendary child actor, 43, was honored on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame on Friday in front of family and famous friends in Los Angeles, where he gave an acceptance speech.
Those in attendance included his Home Alone mother Catherine O’Hara, wife of Disney actress Brenda Song, and their two sons Dakota, two, and Carson, who was born just before Christmas 2022.
In an emotional speech, actor Kevin McCallister praised his wife Brenda, saying, “You are absolutely everything. ‘You are my champion.’
The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody actress, 35, broke down in tears as Culkin continued, “You’re the only person happier than I am today.”

He added, “And after our two boys were born, you became one of my three favorite people.”
The legendary Christmas icon ended his tearful speech with a joke: “And in the spirit of the holiday season, I just want to say Merry Christmas, you dirty animals.”
Despite Culkin’s touching tribute and the great achievement of receiving a Walk Of Fame star, some fans were more focused on the sound of his voice.
One asked: “Macaulay Culkin’s voice really sounds like that.”
“That’s sweet, but should we all ignore it? That’s his voice.”
“Ok, I’m not being funny, but listen to his voice.”

Some viewers were shocked to discover the child star and his brother, Kieran Culkin, 41, sounded uncannily similar to him.

During the ceremony, O’Hara took the podium and witnessed a heartwarming reunion between the actress and her on-screen son.
Other fans noticed how similar the Home Alone actor sounded and switched to his brother, Succession star Kieran Culkin, 41 (pictured in July).

The couple appeared in both the 1990 hit Home Alone and its 1992 sequel.
Macaulay played the role of the mischievous Kevin, while O’Hara played his constantly annoyed mother Kate.
The “Schitt’s Creek” actress tenderly touched Macaulay’s face as she gave a heartfelt speech about the actor – 33 years after they first met.
She said: “Home Alone was, is and always will be a popular worldwide sensation.”
“The reason families around the world can’t go a year without watching and loving Home Alone together is because of Macaulay Culkin.
She called his performance “perfect” and continued, “I know you worked really hard, I know you did, but you made acting look like the most natural thing in the world.”
She shared how the actor brings his “sweet and twisted but totally relatable sense of humor to each of his projects,” quipping, “It’s a sign of a child’s intelligence and a key to survival at any age.”
“Macaulay, congratulations.” “You really deserve your star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.”
She ended by saying, “And thank you for including me, your fake mother, who left you home alone not once but twice, to share in this happy occasion.” I am so proud of you .’
