Machine Gun Kelly jumps up to defend himself, saying, “Get the fuck away from me,” as aggressive fans storm the stage at the Ohio Forum before security intervenes

Machine Gun Kelly had a frightening experience when a fan stormed the stage during the 2023 Forbes 30 Under 30 conference in his hometown of Cleveland on Tuesday.

The Bloody Valentine hitmaker jumped up to defend himself after an unknown conference attendee managed to sneak past security and onto the stage, as seen in a video posted to Instagram.

In the clip, the fan slowly approached the singer, also known as MGK, who was sitting in a chair for his interview with Forbes rep Kristin Stoller.

With his fists clenched, the pop singer quickly jumped up from his chair, confronted the young man and said, “My man, get the fuck away from me.” Yo, what are you doing? What are you doing? This looks bad. Don’t make me do that.’

A security guard quickly came backstage, grabbed the fan and dragged him off the stage.

After a brief pause following the intense moment, MGK – real name Colson Baker – told the audience: “I’m sorry, I try to live on this side of the dichotomy more than the other guy.”

“I left this guy in the past. I’m really sorry. I apologize for my initial reaction.’

Stoller praised the star for his composure and said he handled the situation “amazingly.”

This isn’t the first time Machine Gun Kelly has been on the verge of an altercation in a public forum.

In July, an incident occurred at the Orange County Fair in which a man aggressively approached MGK and his girlfriend, Megan Fox. During the standoff with MGK’s security team, Megan was pushed into a barricade.

In 2021, MMA fighter Conor McGregor had some poignant words for Machine Gun Kelly during a face-off at the MTV Video Music Awards at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The incident occurred on the red carpet just before the show began, with both Conor and MGK accompanied by their partners Megan and Dee Devlin.

Megan intervened, placing herself between the two men and eventually leading her boyfriend away from the growing crowd that had gathered.

During their brief confrontation, Conor was heard calling MGK a “little vanilla boy rapper.”

Conor later told Entertainment Tonight: “Absolutely nothing happened.” I don’t know. He showed up and I don’t know. I don’t know the guy.

“Nothing happened to me, I’m just fighting real fighters, people who actually fight, you know what I mean?” There’s no way I’m fighting little vanilla boy rappers.

“I don’t even know the guy. I don’t know anything about him except that he’s dating Megan Fox.’

It was initially rumored that the fighter wanted to take a photo with MGK, but the star declined the request, TMZ reports.

However, Conor’s rep later told Web: “Conor McGregor didn’t want to take a photo with anyone and he was not the one who sparked this incident.” He doesn’t know Machine Gun Kelly, apart from the fact that Kelly took part in one of Conor’s in July took part in fighting.

An exchange of words also reportedly ensued, and the situation escalated to the point where Kelly pushed Conor, causing him to stumble back and spill his drink.
