The Avalanche, who have won their last three games, were also buoyed by successes from Logan O'Connor (twice), Josh Manson and Cale Makar against the Kings.

Kevin Fiala was the Los Angeles club's only goalscorer. The latter has lost its last three games and has only experienced the joy of victory twice in 13 games since the beginning of January.
