Madonna, 64, looks happy and healthy as she lands in JFK with her supportive son David Banda, 17, after reflecting on her horrifying near-death experience

Madonna and her son David Banda landed at JFK Airport on Wednesday.

The 64-year-old singer cut a demure figure while flanked by her adopted child, 17, as they landed in New York following her terrible health crisis, which saw her suffer a bacterial infection that sent her to intensive care.

After declaring that she “realizes how lucky she is to be alive,” the star looked down after her flight and in the arms of her son, who covered her face with a protective arm wrapped around her shoulders was in the best of health.

She wore a baseball cap that read “Spiritually Hungry,” a merchandise item from a Kaballah podcast of the same name.

On Sunday, Madonna applauded her children for reaching out to her during the health crisis that forced her to cancel her world tour.

The Me Against The Music singer – who is also a mother to Lourdes, 26, Rocco, 22, Mercy, 17, and Stella and Estere, 10, wrote, “Love from family and friends is the best medicine.” A month out of the hospital and I can think.”

The pop music icon, who fell ill in June, shared three photos with a heartfelt caption with her 19million followers as she reflects on the past month since her hospitalization.

A snap showed her with her firstborn child, Lourdes, who showed a peace sign while posing with her mother. In another image, the artist hugged David.

The caption continued, “As a mother, you can truly engage with your children’s needs and the seemingly endless giving…… But when push came to shove, my kids really came for me.”

Arriving at JFK Airport from an undisclosed location, Madonna wore a baggy blue track top and black pants, and pulled a baseball cap that read “Spiritually Hungry” low over her face.

As reported by Radar Online, Madonna was given an injection of the drug Narcan, commonly used to treat suspected overdoses, to combat acute septic shock before she was admitted to hospital.

Sepsis is a life-threatening condition that results from the body releasing chemicals to fight infection. These chemicals damage the body’s tissues and organs and can lead to shock, organ failure and death.

The insider said the singer “has had an incredible support system around her and appreciates all the love she’s received” since she was rushed to hospital on June 24.

She gushed, “I saw a side to them that I had never seen before.” It made all the difference. So does the love and support of my friends.”

The Michigan-born star added, “Artist who has touched so many lives, including my own.” I sobbed as I opened this gift because I realized how lucky I am to be alive.

“And how lucky I am to have known these and so many other people who have also passed away.”

Madonna thanked her longtime manager Guy Oseary for the gift before finishing with the caption, “And thank you to all my angels who protected me and let me stay to finish my work!”

Both friends and fans expressed their support, with Rosanna Arquette writing, “Love to you.” I’m glad you are doing well and have the love and support of your beautiful children. Yes, you still have a lot to do here.’

The living legend is just days away from her upcoming birthday on August 16th.

She was taken to the intensive care unit and intubated after being found slumped on the floor of her New York apartment on June 24.

On July 10, she took to social media to break her silence about the ordeal.

“Thank you for your positive energy, your prayers and your words of healing and encouragement.” I felt your love. “I am on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life,” she shared.

The mother-of-six added in the statement, “My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my kids.”

The lifelong artist said her “second thought was that I didn’t want to disappoint anyone who was buying tickets to my tour.”
