Madonna She was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after being hospitalized with a bacterial infection, which has forced her to put her next tour on hold, her manager Guy Oseary reported on Wednesday.

“Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection that caused her to spend several days in intensive care,” Guy said. “His health is improving but he is still receiving medical treatment. A full recovery is expected.”

Page Six also noted after the Oseary update that “The Queen of Pop” was found unconscious and in need of emergency intubation.
