Married at First Sight British star Matt Murray confirms romance with Marilyse Corrigan after staunchly denying they were a couple
Married at First Sight British star Matt Murray has confirmed he is in a relationship with Marilyse Corrigan, two weeks after strongly denying they were dating.
Matt, 32, and Marilyse, 38, recently flew to Turkey and sparked romance rumours, but when Web asked its rep if they were dating, they said they weren’t.
A spokesperson representing both Matt and Marilyse said: “Yes they are on holiday but there is no romance.

“Marilyse knows too well how public reaction can affect the mental health of the men on the show, having seen how it has affected Frankie.
“So she’s nothing more than a supportive friend to him while other friends from the show film the Christmas reunion.”
However, two weeks later, the couple confirmed that they are together when they shared pictures on their Instagram accounts.
Marilyse could be seen snuggling up to Matt as he looked at her.

She captioned the post: “Happy!!” and Matt reposted it and wrote: ‘This.’
Marilyse appeared on the 2021 series and was married to Franky Spencer but unfortunately things didn’t last between them.
And Matt partnered Gemma Rose, 30, in the latest series he dropped for co-star Whitney Hughes, 31, in drama that has been labeled a ‘wife swap’.
The couple said they were “in love” after a week of dating, and Matt got the words “I appreciate you” tattooed on his leg after Whitney said them to him.

However, at the time of the reunion, the couple admitted that while there was love, their romance had run into trouble and Matt left the show early.
Marilyse defended Matt in an interview with The Mirror after he had a fight with Gemma on the show.
She said: “I know he doesn’t look great on TV but I really like him.
“I think he has a soft side and is very down to earth and he’s a Yorkshire guy too!”
