Magali Febles, director of Miss Dominican Republic Universe, surprised her followers on social networks by saying that she does not rule out participating in the international beauty pageant.

Meanwhile, she asked her fans if they wanted to see her with the band from Puerto Rico, the USA or the Dominican Republic.
From the 73rd edition, Miss Universe will admit women over 18 years of age after the 28-year-old limit for contestants was abolished.

The change came under the new government led by Anne Jakrajutatip, which bought the pageant late last year. For the 2023 edition, the organization allowed married women, women with children and pregnant women to compete for the title.
The 2024 edition must take place in Mexico between September and November, as confirmed at the gala where Sheynnis Palacios from Nicaragua was crowned.
