Magali Febles, director of Miss Dominican Republic Universe, promised to respond to the allegations made by the mother of Ashley Ann Cariño, Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2022, following the results of the finals of the international beauty pageant that took place last Saturday.
The Puerto Rican beauty’s mother, Olga Cariño, said in a lengthy letter that she later deleted from Facebook that Dominican Republic contestant Andreína Martínez Founier was included in the finalists “because of being a great teacher of cheating, dirty work and Appearance for favoritism by arrangement and anyone who knows them knows what I’m talking about”.
“Miss Dominican Republic shouldn’t be in the top 3, I’m sorry,” he added.
In light of these statements, Febles assured that he would send him a reply soon.
“I will make my statements regarding Ashley Cariño’s mother and her baseless allegations! Earrings!” the stylist also wrote in a story on her Instagram account.
The Miss Universe pageant was held last Saturday in Louisiana, USA, where the Puerto Rican nominee was in the “Top 5” of the 71st edition of the pageant.
United States Representative R’ Bonney Gabriel won the crown.
