Mahmood was born in Milan in 1992 and, as many know, has half Italian and half Egyptian roots. From an early age he had such a passion for music that he took singing and guitar lessons at the age of twelve and then delved deeply into the piano. Before he came on stage, Mahmood was just Alessandro and worked as a waiter in a bar.
Precisely with regard to adolescence, the Corriere della Sera singer wanted to highlight an episode from the past, stating: “I was from seven to fifteen years old chubby. Chubby and with glassesI missed three degrees. One day the bully shows up and throws the folder out the window.”
Many remember his triumph in Sanremo with the song money which is reminiscent of the relationship the singer has with his father until he returns to the Ariston stage together with Blanco with the song Broglie an unprecedented triumph.
Mahmood decided to better explain the passage in question by saying: “In Chills, two boys who belong to two generations love with the same passion and the same fears – the fear of making mistakes and feeling inadequate, unable to convey , what to try – and with the desire to love in complete freedom and to give all of yourself. The romantic vision and the more concrete and passionate one of love are united by the desire to live a pure and all-encompassing feeling. Breaking down barriers, in complete freedom”.
Despite a glittering career, there is no shortage of attacks on the singer and this time it’s just talking Mario Adinolfi leader of people of the family.

The words of Mario Andinolfi, the leader of the People of the Family, were very harsh. The man even spoke of “theft” opposite the two undisputed big names of the edition of this Sanremo Festival: we are talking about Gianni Morandi and the singer Elisa.
The man allegedly issued a very strong statement saying: “After Mahmood stole the victory from Ultimo to oppose Salvini, this time Mahmood operates the theft against two giants (Elisa and Morandi) who have misfortune, being straight when LGBT is dominant. There are no good forces”.
From the very beginning of Mahmood’s career, Andinolfi was very disappointed with the singer’s success and once again he becomes the protagonist of a harsh, strong and boorish commentary that sees him against victory at this festival.
Despite all this, the song by the two young people stayed in the charts for many weeks and reached approx 53,936,844 views.
