Maiara and Maraisa talk about celebrating their birthday on New Year's Eve: “There will always be a party”
Fantástico interviewed this Sunday (31) the duo Maiara and Maraisa. For 10 years they have shown that a woman has a place where she wants and that narcissistic men can't pass by.
Taking to the Show da Vida stage, the singers demonstrated what it's like to balance their concert schedule with their birthday, which falls on New Year's Eve.
“December 31st will always be a party. So it's always the day to get ready, it's the day to meet friends and family. There are days where we do two shows that day. Two shows on the last day of the year. In two different states,” says Maraísa.
They talk about what it's like to make all these sacrifices every year.
“There was a day, I don't remember the exact date, when we were in the need to conquer Brazil, to be successful, (…) then I said: 'God, I can ask you something , correct.' ? “This will be the last time I spend my birthday at home,” remembers Maiara.
“After that day, I never spent New Year’s Eve at home again, but instead spent it working. Every time I go on stage on my birthday, it carries more weight knowing that the purpose of my life is being fulfilled,” he adds.
