Maite Perroni finally showed the face of her daughter Lía after announcing her birth last May.
Through a post on Instagram, the actress and her husband, producer Andrés Tovar, announced the arrival of their firstborn into this world.
“Welcome to the sleepless nights, the diapers…along with our unconditional love! You are our greatest blessing. We love you, Lía!” They wrote alongside a photo showing the three’s hands.
Almost two months after this announcement, the little girl’s face was publicly shown by her parents during a photo session for Who magazine.
In his profile of the above social network, the Mexican medium shared a snapshot of Maite and Andrés holding Lía in their arms, who apparently is sleeping.
This is how Maite Perroni was born
Maite Perroni and Andrés Tovar broke the secrecy they’d lived in for much of their lives and revealed how they experienced the birth of their baby.
“That day was full of emotions because we were already waiting for the big moment, we didn’t know when it was going to happen, and we originally wanted to have a natural birth and were waiting for something to happen,” she told the publication.
The singer pointed out that the pregnancy had reached “week 39, day four” and that Lía had “not yet completed the adjustment” that even “labor had started, but time passed and nothing happened”.
“Suddenly the circumstances and the moment led the doctor to decide that it was a cesarean and there was no risk. “The action began,” he explained.
Regarding the moment Perroni gave birth to her child, Tovar explained that it happened in a very short time. “He had a speaker and had a ‘playlist’ prepared for the moment,” he recalled.
“I see Maite, I kiss her, I put “play” on the music and the doctor comes to tell me if I want to meet my daughter. I thought: “What? if only the first song goes” (laughs). It happened very quickly, but it was incredible to see her and cut the umbilical cord,” he said.
Maite Perroni and Andrés Tovar are happy to have Lía
“We feel very fortunate, it’s a gift from the universe, from God, it’s the greatest mission we have in our lives. We’re not done making love big enough to be felt, it’s magical,” he explained.
For his part, Andrés Tovar expressed that it was “the total and maximum happiness” and that fatherhood “changed” their existence.
Maite Perroni, in addition to raising Lía, is currently focused on rehearsals for the next tour launch of the RBD group, which will mark their return to the stage.
