The suspension of Cleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez, who struggled with Chicago White Sox’s Tim Anderson in a two-team game last Saturday, has been reduced from three games to two.
That means Ramirez will be back in action against the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday.

After that scuffle, which turned into a tackle, Anderson was suspended for six games.
The White Sox shortstop didn’t seem pleased with the Ohio team’s slip to second base as he removed his glove and threw the first shots. However, Ramirez had the last word, sending his opponent to the mat with a solid right kick.
Cleveland pitcher Emmanuel Clase was also suspended for one game.
Chicago and Cleveland managers Pedro Grifol and Terry Francona also received one-game penalties, as did Guardians third base coach Mike Sarbaugh.
