Malia Obama looked ready to hit the gym in a sports bra and matching leggings as she had lunch with a mystery man in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The screenwriter, who is the eldest daughter of former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, completed her sporty look with a long-sleeved shrug, ankle socks and white New Balance trainers.
Malia, 24, and her pal were seen picking up takeaway food before driving off in their car. She carried a small black canvas bag and her cell phone in one hand and her car keys in the other.

Her long rust colored braids were worn half up in a messy bun with a few tendrils framing her face. Her companion enjoyed a cigarette during the walk, and although she is a known smoker, she did not participate.
Malia’s friend was also dressed casually in a t-shirt, baggy green trousers and Birkenstocks. Like the former first daughter, he chose to carry his phone in his hands along with a charger.
The two were seen chatting as they walked side by side. It’s unclear if she had the day off or just had lunch on an afternoon break.
Malia’s latest appearance comes just a few days after she was spotted out walking with a friend wearing the exact same outfit paired with different sneakers.
She relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a screenwriter after graduating from Harvard University last year. She landed a lucrative job working on Donald Glover’s upcoming Amazon show about “A Beyoncé-Type Character.”

Glover, also known by his stage name Childish Gambino, confirmed in March that he was giving the former first daughter her first writing job on the series, tentatively titled Hive.
“She’s just an incredibly talented person,” he told Vanity Fair of Malia. “She’s really focused and she works really hard.”
Glover didn’t reveal how Malia – who interned on Lena Dunham’s HBO series Girls in 2015 and The Weinstein Company in 2017 – got the job, but added that he believes she has a bright future in the industry.
Since moving to Los Angeles, Malia has lived in Brentwood, an affluent neighborhood on the west side of the city.

“No matter how sophisticated, accomplished, beautiful, and lovely young woman you become, you will always be my baby. And I’ll always be here to lift you up,” the former president tweeted, along with a picture of himself holding Malia when she was a baby.
Mrs Obama shared her own snap with a young Malia as she also announced her support for her eldest daughter.
“Happy Birthday Malia – and Happy Fourth of July,” she tweeted. “Twenty-four years ago, this day became very special when your wonderful spirit arrived in this world.
“I am so proud of the beautiful, caring and dedicated young woman you have become. I love you so much! Love, your mom.”

Malia’s relationship status is unclear following her move to Los Angeles.
She began dating Rory Farquharson — the son of Charles Farquharson, the CEO of Insight Investment Management Limited Charles — in 2017 when they were both students at Harvard University.
However, whether she and Rory are still together is unknown as she has never publicly addressed her relationship status.
