Malin Akerman has revealed that she is currently “reinventing herself” and continues to live in the “best era of her life.”
The 45-year-old Swedish-American actress gushed that she feels “most herself” now in her 40s and hopes to “not get stuck in a certain era.”
Malin, who moved to California from Stockholm in 2001, gushed that living in Los Angeles was like a “vacation” every day.
The “27 Dresses” star told Vogue Scandinavia: “I'm in a moment where I have to reinvent myself, my 40s have been the best time of my life so far.” I feel the most myself, the most authentic, who I am.
“I look at some people older than me, some over 60 or so, and I think they get stuck in a certain era. “I don't want to get stuck. “I want to dress in a way that has something special but is still elegant.”

Malin added: “The hiking, the canyons.” It feels like you're living on vacation. If I'm in the middle of a project, this is possible around the clock. Long days, coming home to learn the next day’s lines and trying to spend some time with the family on the weekend.”

The Donar Party star looked nothing short of sensational as she slipped into a silver metallic jacket and posed on several stacked tires.
For her latest ensemble, Malin looked elegant as she wore a black sleeveless vest which she paired with matching wide-leg pants.

Malin shares her only child, 10-year-old son Sebastian, with her ex-husband, Italian musician Roberto Zincone, from whom she separated in 2013 after nearly six years of marriage.
From there, Malin moved on and married British actor Jack Donnelly, best known for his role in the BBC series Atlantis, during a Mexican ceremony in December 2018.
The couple had been friends for many years before they decided to add some romance to their relationship in early 2017.
In addition to her breakthrough roles in The Heartbreak Kid and Watchmen, Akerman's Hollywood resume also includes films such as The Utopian Society (2003), Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle (2004), 27 Dresses (2008), Couples Retreat (2009) , Wanderlust (2012) and Rock Of Ages (2012) and Chick Fight (2020).
