My watch said 6:18 or 5:17 p.m.
“And every time he wanted to propose, I was out of the country. The angels definitely protected me. When he changed his guilty plea at eleventh hour, I cried with relief.
“In September 2020 he was sentenced to 10 months in prison for assault. I finally got justice and although he had only served three months of his sentence I was rehabilitated.’

Moving out: Malin, 29, warned her fans about the trigger post before going on with a very candid message
“The numbers are rising, more and more people need help; but our justice system is becoming less and less responsive.
“I feel a heavy heart sometimes when I look back on that time in my life when I had to go to court for over a year and bring evidence back and forth… to get justice, but then also to hear that after only 3… years was released months.
“A survivor’s bittersweet moment. It was even difficult to convict him, without the video footage I had (it was really bad and only the police saw it so far) I don’t know what would have happened. For every 100 police calls related to domestic violence, there are only 33 arrests,” she said.

Malin believes prevention is better than cure and calls for better education on the subject.
Concluding her post, she wrote: “With domestic violence hotline demands increasing by 22% since March last year, this is certainly a call for help for the government to do more.
“I DEMAND MORE relationship/domestic violence education in schools/universities. I think we need prevention…rather than trying to find a cure. I want the rising younger generation to be made aware of what red flags are; what a narcissist is.. what is normal and what isn’t isn’t.

“I relied on him so much I feel like he lost himself a bit. It was best for both of us to take a few months apart, so that’s what we did,” she continued.
