Maluma is going to be a father! The Colombian artist revealed that he and girlfriend Susana Gómez are expecting their first child together in a new music video released at midnight on Friday (October 20).

The song, titled “Procura,” is an avant-garde mix of bachata and urban music about two people who are crazy about each other and have an unforgettable romance. At the beginning, Maluma is seen giving a speech at one of his previous concerts and shouting to his girlfriend: “I love you.” “For so many years I was looking for love on the outside and I didn’t realize it was there , My love.”
The four-minute video documents the couple’s relationship with never-before-seen clips, the touching moment they found out they were becoming parents, and the generous reveal of their baby’s gender when they found out they were having a girl. The couple also revealed that her name will be Paris.
The “Hawaii” singer first made the big reveal during his Don Juan tour in Washington, DC on Thursday (October 19).
“Music is the only way I can talk to my fans, and I wanted to let them know that I’m having a baby,” she said in an interview with NPR Music’s Alt.Latino. “It’s the perfect time for all the things I’m experiencing. I’m also looking for more personal experiences. […] I want to grow as a person, not just as an artist. It makes me feel very human, but at the same time, the more human I feel, the more of an artist I become.”
He admitted that he had always dreamed of fatherhood. “Paris, our beautiful daughter, is growing in her mother’s womb and she gives me many reasons to keep dreaming. She reprogrammed my mind. She’s everything to me right now. “My days are brighter than ever,” he said.
