“This is a trick a lot of bedding brands use for their in-store displays!” she wrote.

These first two hacks already made the room look fluffier and lighter, like she was staying in a hotel.

Previously, Chantel shared her simple four-step method for folding a fitted sheet in seconds, saying the “fold hack” offers an “easy way to fold a fitted sheet” without leaving a crumpled mess at the end.

“Folding a fitted sheet saves storage space and only takes 20 seconds. Let me know if you try it at home,” Chantel wrote alongside her video.

The first thing Mila said is that you need to lay your sheet flat on a surface like your bed, with the elastic part facing up.

Flatten the sheet so that you start with a completely flat surface, with the elastic facing inward.

After that, it’s a matter of creating a “rectangle” with your sheet.

Flip the bottom two corners and place them in the top two corners to create a rectangle,” Mila explained.

You can do this by placing your hands in the corners of the sheet and sticking them in the other two corners.

The third step in Mila’s four-step method is that you need to fold the two long sides inwards. This creates a long blade line.

With the long sides folded in, all you have to do is fold your two short sides in.

This should make a neat rectangle ready to be stored in your wash or press.

Mila’s ‘bonus tip’ is that you can store your fitted sheets in a dust bag to keep them clean and fresh.

Simply slide the sheet into the pocket and secure with the drawstring to ensure your sheets are fresh when you put them on your bed.

How to make your bed fluffy like a hotel:

When making the bed, Chantel Mila recommends the following three steps:

1. When choosing your bedding, opt for a doona/duvet one size larger than your mattress for a cozy feel. If you have a queen mattress, use a king doona. It’s a trick many bedding brands use for their in-store displays!

2. Roll your Doona 1/3 across the bed and add a throw under the roll to add height

3. Put your pillows in the dryer with a rolled towel or tennis ball for a quick fluffy look
