At 8:40 p.m., firefighters ended the search for a missing person after the drowning.
What happened:
- The person disappeared this afternoon during a flood on Avenida Marco Antônio Calegari in Barueriin the greater Sao Paulo area.
- Images captured by Record TV’s helicopter showed live the man being swept away by the current.
- At some point he tries to hold on to some vegetation, but can’t.
- The man goes into hiding while still alive and does not appear for a few seconds.
- After that, it is possible to visualize the man’s head submerged again and no longer visible.
- The search will continue tomorrow according to the fire department.
The company reported that three vehicles were moved to handle the case.
Rain in Sao Paulo
