Man discovers electronic nanny betrayal and reacts drastically

A baby monitor was the cause of a couple dispute that ended with the lover suing the betrayed man. In an interview with The Mirror, a young man named Marek Fecko said he discovered his wife’s betrayal through the device and the case, which took place in Carlisle, UK, ended up in court.

On the day of the discovery, the man, who had been suspected of adultery for five months, used his cell phone to access the baby monitor. The camera was pointed down, but the sounds of the sex act could still be heard.

Marek then went to the house and threatened the lover, with whom he was a colleague, with a kitchen knife. Because of the danger he was going through, the man sued the husband of his “affair”. In court, the judge handling the case, Nicholas Barker, told the defendant: “Of course you would be upset and angry at this act of infidelity; After all, you were married for eleven years and had a closeknit family. [A vítima] was a colleague”.

Although he did not go to jail, Marek received an 18month community service warrant with 120 hours of unpaid work. In addition, a restraining order prevents any contact with the victim for one year. Defendant and victim no longer work together.
