Earlier this year, a resident of Dallas, Texas, in the United States, stumbled upon one while walking outdoors big white dog.
The man immediately realized that he had a pleasant surprise under the paws of this dog.
This dog was actually a female and she had just had a female nine puppies.
Cold, wet and covered in mud, the small family would not survive long under these precarious conditions.

Wasting no time, the Good Samaritan called for help and that’s when Saving Hope Rescue stepped in.
The shelter took the family in and found her a temporary home so she could stay safe. The dog’s name was Evelyn.
According to information from The Dodo, the shelter staff had no idea about Evelyn’s past, but were sure that she was now truly happy.

When we arrived at the halfway house, the whole family showered.
Finally clean, dry and safe, Evelyn’s ears perked up and she wore a new smile.

Evelyn continued to nurse her puppies for another six weeks.
Over time, the dog and puppies gained weight and energy.
Soon the puppies would be big enough to go into foster care without their mother.
The mother kissed her boys goodbye and sent them off on their next big adventure.
But what about Evelyn’s, when would it start?
Evelyn made the most of this season and never gave up her motherly instincts.
“She absolutely loves the children and keeps a close eye on them to make sure they are safe,” Saving Hope Rescue wrote on Facebook.

“Now she is completely healthy and has new energy!”
A few months later, Evelyn’s dream came true when a loving resident, Amy Jones, adopted her.

Today Kaia is better than ever.
In everyday life, the dog likes to wear the shoes or cuddly toys of her favorite people.
In addition, she loves the comfort of her parents’ laps.

She’s finally feeling better and her friends at Saving Hope Rescue couldn’t be happier for her.
“This is our wish for every dog we rescue: a loving home that puts you in your pajamas,” Saving Hope Rescue wrote on Facebook.
How to help an abandoned pet
According to the largest and oldest body promoting animal welfare, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA), when approaching the animal you should first be careful and make sure it is calm. To ensure its safety, offer water and food and check if the pet has identification (e.g. a collar with the owner’s contact number).
Contact local animal control services or shelters for help. If you are temporarily caring for the animal, take it to the veterinarian for an examination and vaccination.
Avoid direct contact with other pets until they have been examined. If you can’t keep her, look for a responsible adoption and consider neutering to avoid future litters.
