Manaus (AM) An employee of the hotel in downtown Manaus where the members of the band Guns N’ Roses are staying has been fired after recording the moment lead singer Axl Rose walking through the premises of the place.
The rock band landed in the Amazon capital last Monday (29th) for the opening show of ‘Guns N’ Roses Are F’N’Back!’ in Brasil.
The employee, identified as “Tairine,” recorded the moment Alx Rose walked outside the hotel to wave to fans waiting at the door. Afterwards, he returns when the girl whispers “good night.” The video was posted on the employee’s social networks, who was subsequently fired.
“Good night! Lord, thank you Lord! Perfect! Beloved Jesus from heaven. Thank God for this moment. Oh God Father! I can die now,” says the staff member in the recording.
According to Tairine, a week before Guns N’ Roses arrived, hotel management had given some instructions to staff not to film or approach the band members. In a very emotional video, the girl said she took the shot spontaneously and shared it without thinking.
“Guys, I just got fired for this. Unfortunately, I acted on impulse and emotionally,” he said.
The team have contacted the hotel’s council to seek clarification, but so far we have not received any replies.
