Mandy Moore showed off a large belly scar in a behind-the-scenes photo from the set of “Dr. Death,” which was shared on her Instagram Story on Friday.

The 39-year-old performer, who recently opened up about her work after giving birth to her second son, pulled up her shirt and showed her gash to her 5.5 million followers. She also added a text graphic that reads “also ick.” Iykyk.'

It turned out that the prosthetic scar had been applied during production of the second season of the series in which she will appear.

Moore was also spotted doing some pre-Christmas shopping in Studio City on Friday afternoon.

Her voluminous brunette hair fell to her shoulders and went well with the dark tone of her clothing.

Moore shared several snapshots from the set of “Dr. Death,” including many with her son Ozzie.

In one snapshot, the actor's child was seen taking a nap on the set of the true crime series.

In another instance, the actress smiled broadly as she spent some time with her youngest son between filming.

Moore also added a text graphic to her post to let her fans know that she and Ozzie had “a lot of fun” working on the project.

It was announced that the actor had joined the cast of the second season of Dr. Death was added.

The show is based on the podcast of the same name and originally premiered on Peacock in July 2021.

The second season of Dr. Death was released in full on Peacock on Thursday and currently has a score of 80% on Rotten Tomatoes.
