“In Brazil, rich blacks become whites, there are some of my idols that put me to shame. He attacks other blacks, he votes against other blacks. This is the basic rule of survival for black people in Brazil. Unfortunately, that’s either true or it shows me otherwise,” the artist said in a very critical tone. Many people on the internet said this for neymaralthough Brown emphasized that this message was not intended for anyone but was general news.
It’s worth remembering that last week neymar finally declared his support for Jair Bolsonaro. The athlete published a video in his networks in support of Jair Bolsonaro’s candidacy. The content posted on TikTok has been widely shared by farright politicians.
The support is questionable given that Bolsonaro has been a denier in the worst moments of recent years and has delayed vaccination in Brazil for months. He not only mocked people with shortness of breath, but pointed out remedies for early treatment that don’t work.
Mano Braun conquered a legion of fans and became the idol of a generation that spoke about the reality of the periphery. He influences and passes on his worldview with his open language.
