Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz met Dickon Mitchell, Prime Minister of Grenada this Thursday as part of the activities of the first regional meeting of the Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (Caricom) to be held in the Bahamas.
At the meeting, the largest of the Antilles reiterated its willingness to further strengthen ties and expand the historic collaboration that unites both nations, according to a tweet published by the Cuban leader.
“Granada can count on Cuba for whatever it needs. The Caribbean countries must be united at all times.”stressed Marrero Cruz.
On that day, the Cuban representative also shared experiences in the tourism sector with Chester Cooper, Deputy Prime Minister and Tourism Minister of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. He also held a meeting with a group of Cubans living in that Caribbean country who reaffirmed their defense of the revolution.
