According to NBC, discussions are ongoing
Ukraine’s presidency is in a bind after US broadcaster NBC revealed that talks were underway to outline what Ukraine might have to give up to reach a peace deal with Russia.
Representatives from more than 50 countries that support Ukraine, including NATO members, reportedly raised the issue last month, according to several senior U.S. officials. Ukraine’s American and European allies are reportedly increasingly concerned about the stalemate in the war as Ukraine’s counteroffensive has failed to achieve a breakthrough.
On November 2, it was Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov who announced this “No, the conflict is not at an impasse”.

The President of the European Commission arrived in the Ukrainian capital this morning to talk to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about EU enlargement, she announced on the social network X.

“I am here to discuss Ukraine’s path to EU membership” and financial support from the EU “rebuild Ukraine as a modern and prosperous democracy,” she said upon her arrival at the Kiev train station, where she was greeted by Volodymyr Zelensky.
