Maraisa took to social networks this Thursday (20) to defend herself against an accusation of plagiarism to which the duo she forms with her sister Maiara is responding. Unhappy with the case, the singer wrote a lengthy lyric to explain and contextualize the situation to ensure they have the exclusivity for the song.
On Twitter, Maraisa opened up about the game with fans. “We were also accused of plagiarizing ‘It’s Our Fault’ by a certain ‘professional’ who recorded the song without permission! I repeat: WITHOUT PUBLICATION!” .

She was adamant on the subject. “We own the exclusivity of the song A culpa é Nosso for the duo Maiara and Maraisa whose composers are: De Angelo, Diego Silveira, Lari Ferreira and Rafa Borges. Plagiarism”.

And the singer herself followed. “Detail, I only find out about these processes through the media! How long will these people go on with this opportunism without respecting the composers and performers who have invested their time, creativity and other things…”
“I’m calm, I want you to come forward because if there’s a process, I’ll go to the end! But come with everything I’m ready to prove what I am, what’s mine and what is real, and what is my IDENTITY!” ended.
