In fact, many would accuse him of settling in too quickly. However, as the main character himself states, he only announced in June that he and his partner of the last 25 years were no longer a couple, but the separation took place in March. He even adds that his ex-partner Caroline has also found love again in the last few months and that he is happy for her.
