Marc Labreche was moved to tears after his daughters column

Marc Labrèche was moved to tears after his daughter’s column on his show – Showbizz.net

Marc Labrèche works by instinct. In general, he doesn’t want to know what the content of his guests’ columns will be so that he can react spontaneously. He likes to be surprised.

That Monday evening he was thwarted by his own approach, while his daughter Léane Labrèche-Dor delivered her first column for “I’m Coming to You.” She decided to “lift the veil on who Marc Labrèche is.” She asked him shocking questions about his various roles; that of the friend, lover, father and entertainer.

Without hesitation, Marc Labrèche replied that his most important role was that of father. Then, in the course of his daughter’s curious questions, he became very emotional, much to her surprise.

“It’s a strange situation,” he said after his daughter asked him if he was a man full of challenges.

He then explains that his mother, Léane’s grandmother, always reminded him that we should not underestimate the heroism of people who get up every morning to do a job they don’t like in order to put bread on the table again bring.

“I’m lucky to be surrounded by great people and doing a job that I love…” he said, his voice shaking and his eyes moist.

Since we rarely see Marc Labrèche’s fragility, this little unexpected moment of emotion touched us deeply.

Remember, I made a strong debut last week with new father Louis-José Houde as my guest.

Then a gag about Éric Lapointe made us laugh. More details here.
