Losing a child is not easy, and embracing the feeling of that moment was one of the most intense tasks for Marcela Fetter, who Erika from Pantanal. In this Wednesday’s chapter, the journalist had to break the news to her father that she had suffered a miscarriage Ibrahim (Dan Stulbach) and mother Ingrid (Gisela Reimann).

As you can imagine, filming the sequence was very tough for the actress who had an intense week of filming. The day before, Marcela says she watched videos of mothers having miscarriages, which she was already “quite shocked”.
Shortly before that, she had to record a super easy scene from Érica with José Lucas (Irandhir Santos) which means the emotion came right at the moment.
“It hurt me so much and even though it was a fast scene I felt it all very strongly. The director came to hug me, I really cried and cried. I ended up putting it in like I was Marcela, even though I felt all of that,” Marcela tells Gshow.

At that moment, when the exchanges with Ibraim were stronger, Marcela was able to understand Erica’s relationship with her father even better.
“When Erica needs a lap, she completely loses her feet and runs to her dad,” explains the actress. “She knows her father has no qualms, he has a character that doesn’t fit, but he is her father. He had such a strong affection there that I finally understood that submission.”
For Marcela, Erica’s pregnancy was very representative and that’s why she cried so much. “It’s more than losing a child, she’s lost the freedom she began to have in relation to her father. Pregnancy was a release in terms of family,” she affirms.

Marcela Fetter is married but has never had the same role as her Erika. She tells Gshow that being a mother is one of her biggest dreams and that she “has had the maternal instinct from a young age.” Despite this, she remains focused on her projects.
“Reasonably, I see that the moment doesn’t matter, everything depends on it,” emphasizes Marcela. “Life is a box full of surprises but I am planning to get pregnant in about 5 years. I always felt like it was going to be a boy, I don’t know why, but I don’t know what kind of life awaits me. “
