Marcos Mion leads his wife backstage and is moved to tears by his son's show TV

Accustomed to crying in front of the cameras since he was hired by Globo, Marcos Mion could not hold back his tears this Saturday in Caldeirão (23). The presenter's eldest son, Romeo, performed a dance show on the stage of the attraction, touching everyone present. The communicator even brought his wife Suzana Gullo behind the scenes for this unique moment. “She hates showing up,” Mion revealed.

Romeo's participation took place at the end of the Caldeirola panel, where freshmen present themselves in search of a prize of R$ 10,000. Mion said that it was her son's dream to appear on the show and that he promised that it could happen in the Christmas special.

“Let me prepare my heart,” Mion began, already touched. “During my more than 24 years on television, I have opened up a stage and space for thousands of people. Some of those who are on the list of the most successful artists in Brazil, the most famous ones, had their first appearance on television sometime in the year on one of my programs.

“My heart feels like it's going to explode! Because nothing could prepare me for the attraction that I will now evoke here on stage,” the moderator continued and took a deep breath. Before announcing his son, he made sure to call on Suzana to be by his side. “Come on, Su, you have to be here with me now. She hates showing up! But this is his victory and ours,” he insisted.

“I’ll tell you the story of what happened quickly. One day our eldest son Romeo, one of the three loves of our life, was overcome with all the difficulties that this could mean for him. With great courage he looked at me and said: “Can you imagine, dad, if I perform in Caldeirola “would?” Mion remembers.

“I looked at him and immediately saw that he was serious. I understood everything. That as a human being he understood everything he wanted to overcome, he understood everything he had to overcome to make that dream come true. And that’s him.” right there behind the fact that it’s his life’s dream. He's said it several times, hasn't he?” Mion continued. “He said it many times,” Suzana agreed, emotionally and embarrassed.

“Anyone who follows me on Instagram knows that every year at the end of the year he performs in the theater with his teacher Mari[ana Pires]. Appearing on TV now is a different world. It's an incredible victory that makes me burst with pride for him. “Very proud of him,” said the presenter.

“As a professional, I would definitely add this attraction to my program straight away. But as a father, I ask you all to accept with an open heart and with a lot of love our greatest treasure, the most precious thing in our lives, Romeozão,” announced the face of Caldeirão.

Romeo then took the stage with Mariana and played Jailhouse Rock, a classic by Elvis Presley (19351977). Mion and Suzana did not hide their tears and Otávio Müller was also speechless. Nany People, Robson Nunes and Susana Vieira agreed to the presentation.

“You did it, man!” Mion cheered at the end of the show. “I fulfilled my dream as a child that I really wanted to perform here,” answered the young man, whose relaxed manner not only received applause from the audience, but also caused laughter. He even asked people to watch him on TV every week and demanded respect for people with autism.
