Famed Australian film critic Margaret Pomeranz delivered a brutal take on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Australia.

The former ABC’s At the Movies star, 78, ripped up the reality show on Wednesday night and devastated the cast.

In her appearance on The Weekly with Charlie Pickering, Margaret called TV veteran Kerri-Anne Kennerley a “war criminal”.

She then questioned the entertainment level of the show.

“The show begins with the arrival of a celebrity in the African jungle…and suspected war criminal Kerri-Anne Kennerley,” she began.

“Contestants complete challenges to win rewards, and this is where the show takes off as they tackle tasks that will test their strength and mental acuity.”

“But it’s the food challenges that the participants are striving for. “As starvation becomes theater, in a slick metaphor for how to succeed in show business.”

Margaret then claimed the show features “F-class celebrities trying to stay relevant”.

“The show raises philosophical questions like when did it become entertainment, but it’s all just fun.”

Meanwhile, Kerri-Anne sensationally wrapped up the final season of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! after only four days in the jungle.

During her time on the show, she clashed with Domenica Calarco after she refused to take part in an eating challenge.

Kerri-Anne was upset at having to take three exams in a row and told her housemates she was leaving.

Kerri-Anne recently told the Daily Telegraph’s Sydney Confidential that she was upset that she quit within the first week of the show, but said she “loved” being with some of the “fabulous” famous faces on the show camp to live.
