According to screenshots shared by TikTok user Nicholas Janzen, Margot goes by the name “Maggie Ackerley” on the platform.

The Australian actress has been married to British film producer Tom Ackerley since 2016 but still uses her maiden name in public.

The account has since been deleted, but Janzen was able to take screenshots, including one from a list of films said to have inspired her role in the Barbie film.

As speculation mounted as to whether or not it was actually Margot’s account, Letterboxd issued a statement on Twitter.

“Margot Robbie has no official letterboxing that we know of,” the tweet reads.

It was announced back in October that Margot will star in the upcoming film, alongside Ryan Gosling as Ken.

A photo was released in April showing the actress as Barbie in a pink convertible on the film’s brightly colored set.

While details about the upcoming film are still scarce, Greta Gerwig will direct, with Margot taking over the lead role after Amy Schumer exits.

The film will feature an all-star cast, with Will Ferrell, America Ferrera, Michael Cera and Kate McKinnon all starring.

Others in the cast include Nicola Coughlan, Emma Mackey, Ncuti Gatwa, Alexandra Shipp and Rhea Perlman.

The film is slated for release next year and is being touted as “a fish-on-water tale about a doll who’s pushed out of toy society because she’s not perfect enough,” according to a report by Vulture on Wednesday.
