Maria Bruaca revolts against Tenório’s betrayal (reproduction Globoplay)
“Pantanal” will have another tense scene after Maria Bruaca (Isabel Teixeira) decides to confront her husband Tenório (Murilo Benício) about his betrayal. The landowner will attack Bruaca after finding out that she is having an affair with Alcides (Juliano Cazarré) and provoke his wife by saying that he will bring another family to his farm.
Outraged, Maria becomes angry, takes one of the guns and tries to shoot Tenório. When she misses the target, she runs away and seeks consolation from Alcides. “If you killed that demon it would still be little for everything he did to you. It was a Duabo thing, God can’t want a damn thing alive,” Alcides shoots.

The character of Maria Bruaca (Isabel Teixeira) in “pantanal” a completely opposite development to what audiences saw in the original 1990 edition of the telenovela. When the housewife learns that her husband Tenório has another family in São Paulo, the housewife breaks free sexually and begins to get involved with several passersby.
Angry at Tenório, Maria Bruaca will relate to Alcides (Juliano Cazarré) and Levo (Leandro Lima). Unlike Manchete’s original storyline, Levi will have a fetish for Bruaca’s feet.
The relationship with Alcides will last longer, and the peasant will give up attacks on Guta to stay with Bruaca. In a scene marked in the original edition of the novel, Bruaca calls Alcides to a dip in the river and seduces the passerby by stripping off his clothes. What will be the end of Alcides is not yet known: in the novel by Benedito Ruy Barbosa, the peasant’s genitals are mutilated by Tenório, who tries to take revenge for the betrayal.
