Maria Fernanda, daughter of Cecília Meireles actress, dies aged 96

Actress Maria Fernanda Meireles Correia Dias, known as Maria Fernanda, died yesterday at the age of 96. The information has been confirmed syringes from Casa de Saúde São José, where the artist spent four days in hospital. The cause of death was bacterial pneumonia.

Maria Fernanda, daughter of the poet Cecília Meireles and the painter Fernando Correia Dias, made her acting debut in 1948 with Hamlet at the Teatro do Estudante do Brasil (TEB).
