The entertainment world mourns the untimely death of Maria Miceli: the resident dancer in Menerbius, in the Brescia area, died at the age of only 35. She had worked in theater and television, also as an actress, taking part in some programs on the main national channels. Among them stands out”cafe room“, an unforgettable Mediaset sitcom that aired on Italia 1 for six seasons. The dancer had also mesmerized the audience in the video clip of Il Volo’s single “Grande Amore”, one of the trio’s most popular songs.
Miceli was struck down with great dignity by a disease she had been battling for some time. In his last post, shared on Instagram and Facebook, he had published the phrase “Love is the bridge between you and everything”: a verse from a famous poem by Jalal ad-din Rumi, better known as Rumi, the greatest of the Persian mystical poets. Dozens of messages of condolence abound on the pinboards of the dancer’s friends and acquaintances directly in the social networks.
The funeral of the 35-year-old began this Saturday, May 13, at 3 p.m. in the parish of Manerbio. The undertaker’s is located at Via Palestro 23, still in the city in the lower part of Brescia.
Who was Maria Miceli?
Maria Miceli was born in Milan to a Benevento father and a Sicilian mother before moving to Manerbio. After graduating in classical dance, she has also been a teacher and choreographer over the years. There are also two degrees in its curriculum: one in Ancient Literature and one in Archeology and Ancient Cultures. With his death he left behind his mother Annarita, his father Raffaele and five siblings: Teresa, Alelign, Maddalena, Selam and Andualem.
