The journalist and ex-wife of the Terminator admitted in an interview that she felt invisible throughout their 25-year marriage.
“I was mad at the people who didn’t consider me when I was next to Arnold,” she said in an interview with Hoda Kotb’s podcast Monday.

“I finally realized these people were trying to teach me a lesson. It wasn’t that I was invisible to them, but more in relation to myself. Do I see myself? Am I visible to myself?” she continued.
Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger married in 1986 and had four children. They separated in 2011 but officially divorced in 2017.
