This week it emerged that she had split from her boyfriend of seven years, Bryan Tanaka, 40, who started out as one of her backup dancers.
Although Bryan has been a mainstay on Mariah's previous Aspen trips, he was nowhere to be seen during her vacation there this week.
His absence added to the already growing breakup rumors – which were then confirmed when a source informed Page Six that they had gone their separate ways because he wanted to have children but she didn't.
However, Mariah, 54, showed no hint of fear as she showed up in Aspen on Friday, beaming with Christmas cheer as she walked down the sidewalk.

Mariah and Bryan had been under a cloud of breakup rumors before an insider broke the news to Page Six on Wednesday.
The source pointed out the 14-year age difference between the long-term couple and explained, “He wants to start a family. “That's not where she is.”
While Bryan doesn't have any children yet, Mariah is already a mother of two and is raising her 12-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with her ex Nick Cannon.

Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice that Bryan also wasn't seen with Mariah when she traveled to her Christmas tour this year.
