Mariah Carey upset fans after sending wrong text message to Shawn Mendes
Mariah Carey left fans shocked by an unintentional act when she mistakenly texted Canadian singer Shawn Mendes on Friday.
The Hero singer mistakenly sent a text message to In The Wild crooner instead of her cousin Sean.
In her message, she wrote, “Happy Thanksgiving,” and that’s also on St. Patrick’s Day.
Soon realizing his mistake, the hitmaker apologized and said, “Wrong Sean. I’m sorry.”
The star also added, “I don’t understand it’s NOT Thanksgiving.”

Explaining the reason for the misreporting, the 52-year-old woman wrote in her caption.
“My cousin Sean M and I have a stupid joke where we wish each other Happy Thanksgiving on St. Patrick’s Day. Shawn Mendes found out about this today… I’m sorry, Shawn!!” It’s read.
Singer Senorita, however, took it in a good mood and replied, “Hahaha, it’s okay, I thought it was an inside joke.”
The hilarious text messaging between both singers left fans in awe and curiosity.
One of the comments (@legencarey) said: “Your interaction with Shawn Mendes is also an iconic moment.”
Some fans are also suggesting a collaboration between these two great singers.
