Mariah Carey conspired with Jimmy Kimmel’s wife Molly McNearney to prank him in the middle of the night.
The Christmas Queen brought Santa Claus, elves and “All I Want for Christmas Is You” into the late-night talk show host’s bedroom at 2 a.m.
“Jimmy, I didn’t mean to wake you, but it’s time!” Carey whispered sweetly as Kimmel was woken from a deep sleep.
And Mariah – who is being sued over “All I Want For Christmas Is You” – isn’t the only singer taking part in the late-night shenanigans for the amusement of viewers.
Rihanna, Britney Spears, Dua Lipa and Miley Cyrus have also played pranks on Kimmel in the middle of the night with the help of his wife.

‘What time is it?’ he asked confused.
‘Hit it!’ Carey responded as her Christmas song “All I Want For Christmas Is You” played and Santa and elves threw fake snow and rang sleigh bells.
Molly was absolutely delighted to have pranked her husband and danced with joy as Mariah and her crew sang.
As the group exited the bathroom and headed downstairs, Mariah gifted Kimmel a T-shirt from her Christmas collection.
“I’m lying there and I feel like something smells good,” he said to the singer in the Santa Claus costume.
Mariah also met for an interview in the studio and they reflected on the continued success of her 1994 hit.
The song hit #1 every holiday season and called it “Bananas” because it was the first Christmas song she ever wrote.
“I just wanted it to sound like a classic because that’s the kind of Christmas song I want… I just wanted it to be timeless,” she said.

Mariah and Kimmel also talked about how the holiday season now begins the day after Halloween, pushing Thanksgiving out of the equation.
“It’s time, darling,” she assured Kimmel, adding, “We have to celebrate Thanksgiving. ‘It’s the holiday, isn’t it?’
But if the audience wants Christmas music, Mariah is happy to oblige.
“I just had to go with the flow because everyone was in a rush at Christmas time and they started playing my song, so I always thought, ‘Not yet, don’t play it yet, why are we playing Christmas songs?'”
