Marie-Annick Lépine will be on the opening night of the 31st edition of FestiVoix, which takes place from June 27th to July 7th. The Trois-Rivières Festival confirmed this on Wednesday morning by announcing the inclusion of numerous artists in its extensive program.
The Cowboys Fringants member will deliver “pieces with country, contemporary folk and French song influences” on the opening night on June 27th alongside her collaborators Pierre Fortin and Jean-Sébastien Chouinard. The Salebarbes group will also be there.
In December, Marie-Annick Lépine released the song Noël Noël, the entire proceeds of which were dedicated to cancer research. The Cowboys' upcoming new album Fringants, announced by the group last year, does not yet have a confirmed release date.
