After writing the book The Magic of Tidying Up, which sold 8 million copies in more than 40 countries and inspired two reality shows on Netflix, Marie Kondo looks back on everything she said and asks us to say it again to start over.

Now that we’ve cleaned up all our stuff lying around and are happier than ever (blah), Marie Kondo takes back her words of wisdom and tells us that it wasn’t really worth it in the end.

In her latest novel “Kurashi at home” she tells us that life is not just about cleaning and that we should all be able to enjoy the small moments in life.

In an interview with The Washington Post, Marie Kondo admitted to having been lax with her passion for organization and storage.

“My house is in ruins, but the way I spend my time is right for me at this time, at this stage in my life,” she explains in an interview.
