Legendary Neighbors actor Mark Little looked completely different from his soap character in pictures taken for his local cricket team.

The 63-year-old actor, who starred in the Australian series from 1988 to 1991 and again in 2005 and 2022, now lives in a rural farmhouse in Wales after playing Joe Mangel Down Under on television.

Previously, he had a neat appearance with short hair and a close-shaven beard, but when he posed with his sports team, he looked very different.

In the photo, the star was radiant while looking completely different with his white wavy hair and bushy beard to match.

Mark wore his white cricket shirts and wore a red peaked cap on his head.

This comes after Mark reappeared on TV last month, once again flaunting his long hair and beard.

After he appeared on BBC cricket talk show View from the Boundary, viewers took to Twitter to express their surprise.

Some compared Mark’s new look to that of former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Others compared him to the moustachioed British singer Robert Plant.

While some have claimed he looks more like English TV presenter James May.

Mark made a surprise appearance on an episode of Neighbors late last year.

The Brisbane-born actor currently lives in a remote Welsh farmhouse and was unable to fly to Melbourne to film his on-set cameo with the cast.

Instead, his character joined Harold Bishop (Ian Smith) for a video call scene.

At the time of its return to the franchise, it was understood that Neighbors would end after 17 years on the air.

However, the show has since been relaunched by Amazon’s Prime Video.

Mark’s portrayal of Joe as a down-to-earth working man who enjoys a drink resonated with viewers in the UK and Australia.

Fans were disappointed in 1991 when Mark decided not to renew his contract so he could pursue other opportunities.
