This October marks the 25th anniversary of Mark Wahlberg’s breakthrough hit Boogie Nights, and the actor admits he kept his most infamous “prop” off set.
The 50-year-old actor was promoting his new film Father Stu, which hits theaters April 15, on Wednesday night when she asked him a series of questions she’d never asked him before as this marks her final season of the hit Daily talk is show.
She asked if he still keeps the now-infamous prosthetic penis he was seen with in the final shot of Boogie Nights, and the actor admitted he still has it… in a very safe place.

Wahlberg played a boy named Eddie Adams from Torrance, California, who was discovered by adult filmmaker Jack Horner (Burt Reynolds) and became porn star Dirk Diggler.
Throughout the film, reference is made several times to his having a massive penis, when it is finally shown in the final shot of the film.
Wahlberg admitted after the film’s debut that it was a prosthetic penis that he used for that shoot, and all these years later he still has it in his possession.

‘Yes. It’s in a safe, locked away. It’s nothing I can leave out. All of a sudden my kids are looking for the spare charger and pull that thing out,” he joked.
He added “wouldn’t look good” if his kids found it, and when Ellen asked if he shares any of his four children with his wife Rhea – 18-year-old Ella, 16-year-old Michael, 13-year-old Brendan and 12-year-old Grace – saw the film, he added that he believes his daughter Ella did.
“I think my daughter did, but she didn’t have the conversation with me, thank goodness. She spares me,” Wahlberg said.

Wahlberg replied: “Nobody would have thought that. That’s why expectations were so low when I started acting that it just so happened that you’re doing something remotely interesting: “Oh my god, he’s amazing!”
He added, “The next thing you know, they’re nominating me for an Oscar,” he added, with Wahlberg’s first nomination being for 2006’s The Departed.
Great: Ellen mentioned that Wahlberg was “great in this movie,” before joking, “Who knew Marky Mark was going to be a brilliant actor.”
Low Expectations: Wahlberg replied, “No one would have thought that. That’s why expectations were so low when I started acting that it just so happened that you’re doing something remotely interesting: “Oh my god, he’s amazing!”
He was also nominated for Best Picture for Producer with his critically acclaimed 2010 film The Fighter.
Commenting on his success, he added: “I definitely worked harder than everyone else and wanted to make sure I could prove to the filmmakers that I was able to do the best job for them and that I would do anything for them .”
He also revealed that the late director Penny Marshall has thrown the best Hollywood parties and the weirdest thing he’s been asked to endorse is adult diapers.
